UPLIFTING LIVES WITH COMPASSION AND DIGNITY
For over two decades, Aaghosh Trust has stood as a beacon of hope, compassion, and humanity. Established in 2003 under the visionary leadership of Madam Shagufta Saba, Aaghosh began with a heartfelt mission, to bring comfort, care, and dignity to those whom society often overlooks.
What started as a humble effort to support differently-abled individuals has now grown into a multifaceted organization touching countless lives through education, shelter, food security, healthcare, and livelihood support.
Our Journey of Compassion
For the past 23 years, Aaghosh Trust has been passionately serving humanity, driven by a deep sense of responsibility and inclusion. In a time when few institutions existed for persons with special needs, Aaghosh became a pioneer, advocating for their rights, dignity, and rightful place in society.
Through awareness campaigns, vocational training, and inclusive education, Aaghosh empowered differently-abled individuals to become self-reliant and confident members of the community. Exhibitions, seminars, and public events organized by Aaghosh challenged stigma and inspired acceptance and respect.
Aaghosh Home, A Sanctuary of Love and Dignity
With compassion at its core, Aaghosh established Aaghosh Home, a peaceful, permanent residence for unassisted senior women and differently-abled individuals, especially those with no family or support.
Many of these women are widows who have endured loss, loneliness, and neglect. At Aaghosh Home, they find not just shelter, but a true home, where nutritious meals, medical care, and emotional comfort restore their strength and spirit.
Here, every resident is treated as family, surrounded by warmth, care, and respect, allowing them to live their golden years with peace and dignity.
